Everyone needs an eyeliner that works for them, as all eyes are different shapes and sizes we work with what we have. I barely use eyeliner as I find it difficult to apply but I do want to use it more now that I have used makeup increasingly over the last few years. I do have some eyeliners that have worked for me but I am always hunting for ‘better’. I came across Bourjois Paris eyeliner, this has a unique brush which made me hopeful that this could be the one. The brush is easy to use and because you don’t need to dip it into the fluid you get the same consistency which is superb. You can use the brush in multiple ways by tilting to the angle that suits the style you want, the shape of the brush means you can control the thickness you want. The brush is definitely the highlight of this product but unfortunately the fluid lets it down. On my fist attempt I found that the liquid didn’t really dry and it was really sticky and the eyeliner kept smudging onto the top part of my eyes so I was spending a lot of time in the mirror correcting it. I really did not want this product to fail me so I tried it again on a work day. Again, I applied it exactly how I would apply any of my eyeliners and it just would not stay on my eyes, small amounts were smudging onto my top part of my eye and I even tried to use hair spray to hold it in..unfortunately this didn’t work and made me feel really irritated. I wouldn’t recommend this product based on the fluid but I would on the brush, it’s just a shame they do not work together because I would have really loved this eyeliner.
