Spring trends with InStyle Magazine

So, I had a little idea...

Recently I've been experimenting with my little blog, finding new ways to express myself while still trying to make interesting content. I love fashion & I wanted to incorporate fashion trends into my blog in a unique way other than a standard outfit of the day blog post.

Scrolling through my recent purchase of InStyle Magazine I realised how easy it is to just pick up a magazine and gain a lot of information inside of the glossy pages. Although, the internet has overpowered everything I still feel magazines are useful. They make cool backgrounds for blog photography and they are inspirational. There's nothing better than a glossy page with vibrant colours screaming for your attention. While typing this, I found another positive for magazines - they get you away from your digital life (even if it is for 30 minutes).

Anyway, back to the meaning of today's post, FASHION!
I love looking at photoshoots, I try to unravel and understand the stylists / creative directors thinking behind the outfit / theme.
February's Issue of InStyle Magazine has a very spring vibe (yay!) with bright colours & festival ready outfits.
I'm really loving the tassel trend and I have my eye on the suede tan jacket so so much.
Along with the tassels comes the hippie scene with over the top patterns and colours, making SS15 a vibrant one - which FYI I am absolutely looking forward to.
SS15 trend report saw a lot of denim, so I thought it would be cool to show you some denim looks in the magazine. I love the styling of the double denim shirt & skirt - it looks effortless and makes a bold statement.
Following from the denim trend comes along the navy palettes. Navy hues look set to be a top trend in the shoe department, I think that navy brings an element of class therefore, I can see this trend moving into AW15.

Please let me know what you thought of this post - I'd love to do more in the future x
