I'm all buttoned up and ready to go these days, I never use to be the one for wearing coats unless it's absolutely cold. As I have gotten older, I do realise it's more sensible, so now my goal is to try and find nice coats and jackets to keep me looking and feeling good. Today it wasn't too cold, but I found my old coat - naturally I wanted to do a blog post with it. I never thought I would enjoy doing Autumn style OOTD, but I actually love doing them. Although, I am not looking forward to the clock changing - worst part about winter I say!
What I wore: Dorothy Perkins Coat, Forever 21 shorts, TopShop vest, Primark Shoes
Summer has gone, and Autumn has arrived. I don't have any Autumn clothes at all and once I come back from my sunny holiday I will need to get that underway. This is the only suitable coat I have at the moment, I never wear it and thought that I might as well because it was a little chilly out. It's a really nice shape and I love the leather arms.
The colour really stands out and I really like that, the reason for me not wearing this beforehand was due to my pink hair (*sobs*). I do miss it, but it was a lot of maintenance.
What do you think of my yellow Autumn coat, would you wear yellow? x
I've never been one for Winter, or Autumn for that matter. This year I will aim to embrace the season and welcome multi layering and bulky boots. After my holiday in a few weeks time summer will be way gone, even though it is August it doesn't really seem like it; let's put it this way I have had to wear my wooly cardigan more than a few occasions. I'm a big fan of Primark footwear and Home ware, and I grabbed two bargain shoes from their shelves. Usually my size is almost always sold out, but luckily they had my size! These really cute cut-out flats are really adorable. They kind of remind me of school shoes, but in a fun, nerdy way.. If I were you, I'd grab a pair because these are my new Autumn staple shoe! x
It's holiday season and instead of doing a vacation style inspiration, I decided to do an airport inspiration. Quiz have some trendy pieces and blocked shoes are really big at the moment, including these cut out platform heels. Travel in style while keeping comfort at the the top of your list. As well as chunky heels, crop tops are the rising star this year and they're not going away too soon. I think that they will be brought through to A/W 14 and even in 2015. So, stock up on some classy and printed ones as you'll pack yourself some investments for the coming months. When travelling through the airport you want to keep your belongings together and this cute little stud bag is perfect and simple to match up the outfit. What's great about this this outfit is you can use the pieces on your holiday, the boots make a lovely night time outfit and the shorts will team with any bikini.
What I wore: Primark Tee, HiddenFashion Boots
Mix and matching is fun to do, that's sort of what styling is all about. I'm wearing a mixture of old clothes today but I managed to match my shorts and my bag together with stripe print. Stripes are simplistic, even though they come in various widths and colours. They add so much to a basic outfit yet they look effortless and stylish. I need to own more stripes; note to self..
Go summer cool in ASOS stripe top, a light take on the trend with cute minimal detailing to lighten up a basic outfit. If you haven't yet finished your bikini shopping (you're not the only one) then this V stripe Bikini is perfect for a simple print that will match any shorts! If being a bit more adventurous is more your thing then these trousers are too cute to miss, see here. I would love to have these but my short legs would drown in them..
What I'm wearing- Jeans: HiddenFashion
ASOS do some pretty cool ripped denim's, some more subtle than others which is nice. If you're looking for a less of a rip and more of a 'I grazed my knee' then you need to head to TopShop. For a variety of brands at affordable and a more pricey range then ShopStyle.co.uk have a good choice of colours. One of m favorites from the website is BooHoo's version!
Are you digging ripped jeans or are you more into Mom jeans? x
Our big summer is starting (finally right?). This weekend it's going to be the hottest it's ever been and that means one thing here in the UK, and that's flesh on show. I've gone for a nude feel in today's out fit, the printed smart shorts are one of my favorite purchase this month. You can't see too much from the photo's but they're fruit print. Fruit print is such a big hit this summer, I love it! Let's get the healthy sign out there already..
I'm also wearing my Fossil watch and an old TopShop floral clutch bag ( my favorite accessories).
What accessories can you never let go of? x
If it be Fiction books or Star wars, we all have something we adore that might be considered a bit childish or somewhat. Well mine is Harry Potter (and Paramore). Even when I'm 40 and old, I know that I will always watch and read and adore Harry Potter. Little fact about me is that when the last book came out I got it the day of release and I didn't leave the house until I read every page and I told all my friends to not call ..haha!
When I saw this top on SheInside I just crumbled, I needed it. So here it is, in all it's glory. I kind of went for the black and white theme today, unintentionally of course. As the weather isn't picking up I have gone for a grunge boho look.

I went for a bit of a lonely drive this weekend. It was super nice, where I live there is a country lane area and I stopped off close by to take some snaps. I wanted to try an outdoor post that wasn't outside my house. Because I don't have a garden *insert super sad face*. It was really calming, watching the boats go by as people sailed them, there is definitely something soothing about water.
I went for a boho / country look today, I have fallen utterly in love with this tie dye top, it is a perfect summer essential and I know I will be getting a lot of wear out of this. What is your summer fave this year? x

The weather isn't really picking up, but that doesn't mean I can't dress for the summer! I practically wear summer clothes throughout the entire year anyway (I should be a Cali girl, I swear). One thing I can always rely on for a quick style fix is Forever 21. I swear they are just perfect..
I was so glad when we got a Forever21 in Birmingham, I think the UK should really invest in more American / International stores. To mix it all up a little. Today's OOTD is a Zebra Print Tee from Forever21 and it's so soft and light weight. To bring a boost of brightness I present you my new favorite shorts.. these are from SheInside and they're just the cutest shorts ever. I was a bit apprehensive at first when getting white shorts but I think it was a smart move. You sort of need a rainbow of shorts in your wardrobe.
I've added a beauty instalment today as I want to show you some key products I have been using that I adore..
Kate Moss' LipStick collection is so cute, I love this pink rose colour. I use it very lightly to boost my lip colour and it sort of matches my hair so that is an added bonus!!
In the center I have an eyebrow pencil. I have been using normal eyebrow pencil for years but lately I just wasn't impressed. I was searching online and saw this new pencil and it comes with a highlighter and I really like this. It's gentle compared to the pencil and the nib of the brow colour is soft.
We all know that looking after your skin is super important so I decided to give sun lotion a go for my facial regime. I am impressed with the results I must say, although sun lotion is slightly oily I don't think it effects my type of skin and sun lotion is suppose to be good for anti-ageing. So in ten years time, I will let you know the outcome ;)
*Tee - New Look *Skorts - Forever 21
Soo, when you run out of clothes and ideas. Just put anything with everything and call it an outfit. That's literally what I did this week. I am in dire need to revamp my wardrobe. One article at a time... x
Today I went for the smart look. I haven't bought new clothes for a while so I tried to refresh my wardrobe into a different look. My boyfriend shorts are a key piece in my weekly outfits, these will definitely see me right through to the more sunnier times (yes I mean summer). The blazer was from eBay and it's light weight, making it easy to wear and the cute lining gives it style! I love a good, old graphic tee. I don't buy them much any more but the ones that I have, I adore. This one is by Illustrated People from TopShop I managed to grab in the sale a few years back. It's one of my devoted tee's I will ever own.
If you could mash two styles (or even trends) together, what would it be? x
