I've never been one for Winter, or Autumn for that matter. This year I will aim to embrace the season and welcome multi layering and bulky boots. After my holiday in a few weeks time summer will be way gone, even though it is August it doesn't really seem like it; let's put it this way I have had to wear my wooly cardigan more than a few occasions. I'm a big fan of Primark footwear and Home ware, and I grabbed two bargain shoes from their shelves. Usually my size is almost always sold out, but luckily they had my size! These really cute cut-out flats are really adorable. They kind of remind me of school shoes, but in a fun, nerdy way.. If I were you, I'd grab a pair because these are my new Autumn staple shoe! x
What I wore: Primark Tee, HiddenFashion Boots
Mix and matching is fun to do, that's sort of what styling is all about. I'm wearing a mixture of old clothes today but I managed to match my shorts and my bag together with stripe print. Stripes are simplistic, even though they come in various widths and colours. They add so much to a basic outfit yet they look effortless and stylish. I need to own more stripes; note to self..
Go summer cool in ASOS stripe top, a light take on the trend with cute minimal detailing to lighten up a basic outfit. If you haven't yet finished your bikini shopping (you're not the only one) then this V stripe Bikini is perfect for a simple print that will match any shorts! If being a bit more adventurous is more your thing then these trousers are too cute to miss, see here. I would love to have these but my short legs would drown in them..

I went for a bit of a lonely drive this weekend. It was super nice, where I live there is a country lane area and I stopped off close by to take some snaps. I wanted to try an outdoor post that wasn't outside my house. Because I don't have a garden *insert super sad face*. It was really calming, watching the boats go by as people sailed them, there is definitely something soothing about water.
I went for a boho / country look today, I have fallen utterly in love with this tie dye top, it is a perfect summer essential and I know I will be getting a lot of wear out of this. What is your summer fave this year? x

The weather isn't really picking up, but that doesn't mean I can't dress for the summer! I practically wear summer clothes throughout the entire year anyway (I should be a Cali girl, I swear). One thing I can always rely on for a quick style fix is Forever 21. I swear they are just perfect..
I was so glad when we got a Forever21 in Birmingham, I think the UK should really invest in more American / International stores. To mix it all up a little. Today's OOTD is a Zebra Print Tee from Forever21 and it's so soft and light weight. To bring a boost of brightness I present you my new favorite shorts.. these are from SheInside and they're just the cutest shorts ever. I was a bit apprehensive at first when getting white shorts but I think it was a smart move. You sort of need a rainbow of shorts in your wardrobe.
I've added a beauty instalment today as I want to show you some key products I have been using that I adore..
Kate Moss' LipStick collection is so cute, I love this pink rose colour. I use it very lightly to boost my lip colour and it sort of matches my hair so that is an added bonus!!
In the center I have an eyebrow pencil. I have been using normal eyebrow pencil for years but lately I just wasn't impressed. I was searching online and saw this new pencil and it comes with a highlighter and I really like this. It's gentle compared to the pencil and the nib of the brow colour is soft.
We all know that looking after your skin is super important so I decided to give sun lotion a go for my facial regime. I am impressed with the results I must say, although sun lotion is slightly oily I don't think it effects my type of skin and sun lotion is suppose to be good for anti-ageing. So in ten years time, I will let you know the outcome ;)

Soo, when you run out of clothes and ideas. Just put anything with everything and call it an outfit. That's literally what I did this week. I am in dire need to revamp my wardrobe. One article at a time... x
Today I went for the smart look. I haven't bought new clothes for a while so I tried to refresh my wardrobe into a different look. My boyfriend shorts are a key piece in my weekly outfits, these will definitely see me right through to the more sunnier times (yes I mean summer). The blazer was from eBay and it's light weight, making it easy to wear and the cute lining gives it style! I love a good, old graphic tee. I don't buy them much any more but the ones that I have, I adore. This one is by Illustrated People from TopShop I managed to grab in the sale a few years back. It's one of my devoted tee's I will ever own.
If you could mash two styles (or even trends) together, what would it be? x
I've been wanting some funky trousers for a while, when I saw these plaid khaki jeans I knew I should get them and here I am standing by a brick wall! I love taking photography outside, sometimes you don't have to go far to find something interesting or useful.
I will hold my hands up and say that I've never really bought anything great from Primark. I went in for a nosey the other week and saw some really cool stuff, I decided to grab this cute heart print and lace strap top. I never really try clothes on so I was hoping it would fit nice! To my surprise I do really love this and for only £5.00 who can really argue at that!?
Because the weather isn't great (well it's tipping it down) I threw on some ASOS jeans and my favorite New Look heels. Lately, I have been Clipping my hair back becuase I do not like it in my face and I bought these cute little floral clips that are just perfect x
Hey!
I love my converse, especially these ones. These are literally like 9/10 years old and I still wear them! They're super funky and I remeber begging my mom to get me them because I loves them soo much. I bought a new top this week from Primark and I saw this in a blog post by @Bangonstyle and I loved the top! Soo when I went into Primark for the first time ever to look for clothes and I saw this, I just had to get it. It's such a simple top but it add minimal style and it's quite edgy which I love. I adore wearing white in the summer, it just makes sense :)
Top; Primark Leggings; TopShop Footwear; Converse All Stars Watch; Fossil
Hey!
So.... I got pink / purple hair! It was a mission but I made it. We ended up using three bleach kits and then the purple haze dye after. The hair wasn't suppose to get this bright but I think I bleached my hair too bright so it turned into a pink and purple mixture. I am happy with my results. It's most definitely outside of my comfort zone but hey, sometimes you have to x

Hey!
If you saw my previous post you'll know I ordered from Nasty Gal.. and here is the last thing I got from them, this super super cute jumper. It's so lovely and fits really nicely. The cropped hem at the front adds a nice shape to the jumper - giving me a bit of a girly look (if the colours didn't already do that). I love that the colours are broken down in the jumper, I don't often wear pink but the cream tones it down! I thought that I would maximise the look by painting my nails a metallic purple. I am loving this shade at the moment and won't trade it just yet x
Sadly, they no longer have the jumper on their site but check out alternatives >> Jumpers @ NastyGal

I'm just mixing it up here with print & shades of summer! My Nasty Gal order came through and I was so excited to see my shoes. They're my new babies and i'm going to really look after these beauties. Also, my cream cardigan is from Nasty Gal - my perfect summer knit. What do you think of my un co-ordinated look?
While I was totally happy with my order from Nasty Gal, I was not impressed with their delivery service nor their customer service. I ordered £60 worth of clothing that included postage and packaging. Only to discover that in order for me to receive my parcel I have to pay £19.05 custom charges. I was so upset because I do not want to pay more for an order that I have already paid for. Then I contacted Nasty Gal via their live chat to be told that I have to pay this, but I was going to reject the package and have a refund instead in which the lady said yes that is fine. Then I decided to contact them directly to complain that why should I have to pay this, they should understand that if they want custom from all over the world they should think of a better solution. I also said that I will be refusing to pay and that when it returns I would like a refund. They replied to me instantly which was good but I was then told that I cannot refuse the parcel because if it gets returned they cannot refund the order. SO either way I have to pay the £19.05 fee that I really did not want to. The sad thing about it was I had a short time limit on when the fee had to be paid and if I didn't pay this then the parcel may even get destroyed. This is ridiculous and not good service at all. I would understand if they mentioned this on their website but it says NOTHING on there!

So yeah, it's mine now :)
