Today's look is inspired by 'throw something basic on' can you tell (lol). I am in desperate need of a wardrobe refresh (which I am slowly starting) but for now I'm a little strapped for clothes. I went shopping today in H&M and saw so many things that I would like and I got a few nice things too, you can always rely on H&M to equip you with the latest trends at affordable prices and they are wonderful for basics!

Although it's actually snowing now, Autumn / Winter trends are coming to an end. I loved the AW14 trends, I believe that they have been a strong beginning for next years seasons. We saw how a simple 'IT' coat can bring any outfit to life, being more than just a coat - more like a super statement piece.
Today I am wearing a sale item from Forever21, I love this fluffy cardigan, it's 100% a keeper for the cold months to come and AW15! x
What I'm wearing: Jacket / Forever21 Boots/ Public Desire
I need to wear dresses more, looking back on old outfit posts I see a lot of jeans. Although my jeans do need updating I want to wear more dresses. I want to find a nice print and some really nice basic one's for those times where you don't want to dress up or down - somewhere in between.
Today's outfit is something I wore the other day, it's simple and I love how well my jacket and shoes go together.

After the Christmas and New Year festivities, I get super excited for Summer. Preparing a new diet or healthy regime for summer (which never goes to plan, but hey!). AW14 saw the rise of favorite summer staples form into the Autumn Winter season, for example; festival kimono's and ripped jeans.
I loved my rose kimono which I wore on Holiday Back in September, which you can read here. So I decided to work my autumn winter wardrobe into my summer favorites. Today I am wearing a beautifully vibrant rose print kimono from Hidden Fashion and I kept my colour palette simple with black ripped jeans from New Look and my black silky shirt from Forever21. I loved wearing my outfit, it's cosy and easy to wear.

I swear you cannot get me out of these ripped jeans. I think I need to go find some new jeans to swoon over.
I love a good slogan tee, you see them a lot around social media with the likes of In The Style's Lauren Pope and Charlotte Crosby throwing in slogan tee's left right and centre. It's a cool way to express your mood. My tee is from Forever21 and I bought it last summer, I cannot wait to go shopping for more phrases on tee's! x

Can you believe that Christmas is literally upon us, I can't grasp how quickly this year has flown by. The winter has gone faster than usual which I am thankful for, as I am waiting around for Spring to start..
I do find it quite hard to dress for winter. I don't know why I do because I am from the UK which equals to endless rain and cold days; you would presume I am immune to this weather, but I'n not.
I do dream that one day I can live in a hotter country, I feel that's my calling & I also feel that's how I express my style in the way I wear clothes. I don't own many coats, I own more kimono's / light cardigans.
As you can see from my description of what I am wearing today, it's heavily dominant in Forever21. I know I've expressed how much I do love this brand before but I like to keep remind you all (sorry, so sorry). I really adore my white textured cardigan, it's easy to wear as it's light and it is a good colour to have o mix up styles.
The problem that I am recently facing is the lack of ambition in my wardrobe. I feel that I barely put this outfit together. I don't know if it's because of the winter days drawing in where I just want to be snuggly or the constant feeling of being tired.
Anyway, I tried to edge this outfit up a little with my oh so super cool boots from Public desire. You can see how I styled them in a different outfit here. I do love these boots, they make any old outfit look a little bit cooler, don't you think?

I wanted to restyle my bohemian jacket that I got from Forever21 as I feel it's such an awesome staple that I wish it was okay to wear it every single day.. I do love dressing with a dash of bohemian style do look more free & hippy-like.
I love crop tops, I do need to work on my stomach so I can wear them a lot next summer, this one is from H&M and they do loads of colours cheap. I kept the outfit simple so the jacket would speak more volume. Oh, and check out this super cool necklace, it's got a doughnut and a cake on it.. it's so cool, I've had it for years and decided to fit it in with this outfit - don't get too peckish looking at it!!

I decided to do a second style up of this skirt, to show I'm not all casual and laid back.. I went for a more comfy approach to this smart style, staying all monochrome (i think it's best for the skirt).
My favorite black shirt from Forever21 seems to work well with this skirt. As the skirt is very figure grabbing a loose touch mixes up the look in a nice way. Paired with my new black booties, I think I've done quite well to be a little smart - it's not my forte but it's a start, right?!
