5 vegan places to eat in Birmingham

As the rise of veganism increases, more and more restaurants are popping up around the UK. Birmingham has recently collected its fair share of eateries that supply innovative dishes for vegans,allowing us to be sociable once more! 


The Warehouse Cafe 




Set between the Bullring, Moor Street Station and Digbeth, The Warehouse Cafe hosts a menu of vegetarian and vegan dishes, with gluten free options. Their international menu has everything from burgers and wedges, risotto, quesadilla, salads and curry. The desert menu includes chocolate brownie, raw cheesecake and apple crumble.


Cafe Soya 



Opposite the famous Rag Market, you can find Cafe Soya. A Vietnamese and Chinese restaurant serving up dishes for every type of 'eater' This is a great place for those who love Asian food to get a taste of what it's like to eat vegetarian or vegan food. Cafe Soya does cater for meat eaters too, but has a relatively large menu for vegetarians. Vegans can choose the option for no dairy or egg to be included in their chosen dishes. Bistro 1847



Set in the Great Western Arcade, Bistro 1847 is a chain of modern restaurants serving the vegetarian and vegan community. With an A La Carte menu of pub favourites such as vegetarian fish and chips, which halloumi serves as the fish, vegan surf n' turf and salads. Their desert menu consists of vegan brownies, ice cream and fruit combinations.

Bodega



For South American and Mexican cuisine, head to Bodega, located just off New Street. Their vegan menu consists of vegetable stuffed burritos, spicy tacos and crispy salads.


Mr Singhs All Vegetarian Pizzas



I think it's safe to say that when you decide to become vegan, cheese is the ultimate weak spot for most ( i know it is for me). Luckily, Mr Singhs Pizzeria offers plenty of vegan option for when you're craving your favourite past time pizza. They have everything from Margarita twist, pepperoni, tandoori paneer and vegetarian hot pizzas!
