A day in the park

I want to share something on my blog that I have passion for, other than fashion of course. I have always considered myself to be expressive and with that comes creativity. I believe that every person is creative, and we choose how to show it within our lives. I guess this is why music, art, film and fashion are so appealing; it's the ultimate expressive way to be.
Photography has always inspired me and with today's access to websites like Pinterest and Instagram, the entire world has fallen in love with pictures too!

Back in my college days, part of my BTEC Art & Design course I had to study photography. Cool right? But this wasn't just taking random pictures on a cool Canon or Nikon. We had to use film and then process that film later on. It was pretty awesome and some of my fondest memories in college were in that lesson every week.
After my BTEC I didn't even consider photography, I am quite shy and I tend to shy away from things I'm unsure of. So, I decided to do Graphic Design at University. Along with Uni there's a big loan and I bought myself a Canon, I knew it would be an investment; and 3 years on I still use it. It has come in handy particularly in blogging.

I went on holiday to Crete in September and it opened my eyes massively. It made me want to see more of the world that we live in, to catch every minute of nature and history. I really want to travel to more places and see different views and aspects of life. On that note I intend to experiment with my camera and capture the life around us - even the most simple things that I want to show you in the post today :)

I love autumn leaves, although they're overly used, they're pretty to see and the colours they project is stunning. Also stepping them is fun to hear the crunch...
