GlossyBox February 2015: Love.
19:11:00
This month's GlossyBox came in a really cool graphic box with the word 'Love' in cool lettering; as we all know February is all about love. Inside the box was products fitted around going out, which was quite a nice touch. I'm going to talk you through what I received and what I thought about each product.
Everyone is familiar with this brand, although I only ever buy throw away razors I would have preferred a new brand to try.. Needless to say, I'm looking forward to trying this out!
Tip: Shave legs at the end of a shower to allow time for the water to soften stubble ad open hair follicles for a smoother shave.
Everything is currently called Fifty shades, which is a little annoying, but hey ho, I'll still try this out. I've always stayed away from dark shades, even more so if it's a powder but I am looking forward to wearing this ( I just need an eye shadow brush!!).
Tip: For a deeper, more intense shade apply with a wet brush <-- totally going to try this!!
Apparently Victoria Beckham is a fan of this cute little lip balm.. When opening the box I thought to myself "How darn cute is this tin" I can see me keeping this little tin once I've finished with the lip balm. I do like the colour of this too, it's like a coral shade & i've heard that this shade of lip flattens most skin types (win, win).
Tip: This balm contains shea butter and a trio of oils; argan grape seed and almond..
So Susan Rose Quartet Lip & Cheek Palette worth £8
I received this brand in my first GlossyBox back in December, I didn't think I would get this brand again so soon to be honest. However, I tried my first ever cheek stain at the end of last year and I preferred this way of applying blusher than in powder form.
Tip: Match lips and cheeks together to give a radiant look.
Essie Repstyle Polish worth £9.99
I don't often paint my nails as I'm not a keen hand accessory person, that said I would like to be more 'out there' so this snakeskin polish will be an adventure for me.
Tip: Apply two coats onto the nail and then hold the magnetic cap over the wet polish for ten seconds.
Which product would you be tempted to try out? x
