Sol Don Pedro Hotel Review in Torremolinos, Spain

19:39:00

I spent a week in Costa Del Sol, situated on the end of Spain. I stayed in an area called Torremolinos and I'd never heard of it before, it's near the Malaga town. My hotel, Sol Don Pedro was over the road from the beach which was great! The hotel is on a road hat is lined with restaurants and shops, with great access to the center of Torremolionos, where you'll find countless trails of shopping opportunities, from little market shops to modern retail stores. Until I arrived at Sol Don Pedro, I hadn't realised that it was a complex of three hotels from the Melia Group; Sol Don Pedro, Sol Don Pablo and Sol Don Marco. You can use the facilities available at each hotel when staying here such as 6 pools and a gym.

Great things to know when staying at Sol Don Pedro:

* ATM just outside of the hotel (beach front way)
* Free Wi-Fi in the room & around
* In-room fridge
* Satellite TV (english channels: BBC One & Two, Channel 4, ITV, Sky News, Sky Sports, CBS)
* 10-15 minute walk from Calle Sam Miguel Shopping area
* Near a Burger King, Irish bar and many many restaurants

The room we had was a standard twin room and it was clean and furnished with indoor and outdoor seating. I liked the colours of the room too, it was bright but not too overpowering!

Pretty tapestry framed artwork

Shower room with hairdryer and hand soap, the hair dryer wasn't too bad actually for a little cheap one! There's two settings MIN or MAX!

...the floor was pretty  :P

Tiny seating area, but it was useful in the evenings.

Really pretty bathroom, I really liked the wall art in the shower! There was two shower heads, a normal one then the rain shower styled one, I loved that one the most.

Small balcony with not so great views...

The views get better if you look up ;)

Here's a little snap of the food we had a breakfast, we went half board so we had breakfast and dinner included in the deal. Breakfast was really nice, as I'm vegetarian breakfast was easy to eat, plenty of toast, cereal, fruit, cheeses, beans and some semi secco. If you love meat you'll find bacon, eggs, fish, sausages! Unfortunately I couldn't snap up the dinner but there was lots of fish, 3 different soups per night, chicken, fish, pasta and salads to choose from.

The snap of the view below is of the area from up high :)
