Discovering Malaga
13:23:00
Earlier this month I headed to Spain for a late summer getaway, it was a good choice to make as the UK summer has been a big disappointment this year. I stayed in Torremolinos, which is situated between Malaga and Marbella, making this an easy place to travel to and from different areas. If you would like to find out about he hotel that I stayed in, you can find the link here.
Today's post is a little sample about each place that I explored in the Malaga region, and soon I will be uploading in-depth posts about each region.

Torremolinos has long stretches of beaches, there's always people creating sand sculptures, day and night!
You can also find some hidden gems of history within Torremolino's complex of hotels, shopping areas, parks and residential areas.
Malaga is landscaped with pretty parks, heritage, religious monuments, an array of fancy and take out restaurants and a large port.
Malaga's strong historical points can be found in the central of a modern and luxurious shopping town center.
If you are a park lover, then you must go to Benalmadena's Parque De La Paloma and check out their impressive stretch of green lawns with large palm tress, lakes and fountains. You'll see turtles, cockatiels, hens and rabbits freely living in harmony with each other.
From Benalmadena's park you can go down the steep hill and find the beach, which will lead you to the port full of shops and restaurants!
Those who love shopping malls will want to check out Fuengirola's Miramar shopping center, it has a Primark, H&M, ZARA home and lots of new places to shop!
On the way to Miramar shopping centre you'll bump into a few historical and religious landmarks such as this Mosque.
