Summer has almost gone and retailers are stocking coats in for the new season - how quickly did we get back to autumn right? I've gathered a selection of bright & bold coats to follow you through to the new season and more importantly, to brighten things up. Red is a high player this season and why not bag a statement coat that shouts fun and loud. If red isn't quite your shade, not to worry, try a more subtle shade of coral or a pastel pink keeping it sweet and girly. Saying goodbye to summer is't all that bad when you can be wearing this cute pieces x

How is everyone's bank holiday weekend been?!
Mine has been relaxing, which makes a change. Usually I'm working throughout the Easter Holiday but it's been a nice long relaxing weekend :)
Today, I watched the new Amazing Spider Man, it's really good and I almost cried!!! The beginning of the day it was sunny and not cold out at all, so while the opportunity was there, I wore a dress without tights (mind my nobbly knees). I wore my polka dot ASOS dress which is the first time I've worn this since purchasing last October (omg!). I love this dress, it's just simple and cute. I went for a more edgy look today, wearing purple lipstick and HUGE circular sunglasses, both I robbed from my sister :)

I'm really loving sunglasses at the moment, I don't know if you can tell.. Also, this purple lipstick I surprisingly LOVE. I would never select this colour for myself but I tried it out and I fell in love straight away.

It's me again, in my leggings..

I haven't worn my new ASOS coat in a while, I wasn't too sure on it, and I am still unsure. I think it's due to my height, it over flows me a little, like how oversized pj's or a nighty looks. Aside from my overflowing coat I want to show you my favorite TopShop purchase (from a few years ago). I love my boho feather style print vest, it was only £9 in the sale. Have you ever been to a TopShop Sale (of course you have) but their sales are literally the best deals around so whenever they're on I am right there! I stayed on the darkside today, lately I am embracing my darker size, I mainly wear monochrome or dark colours - maybe I am going back into my emo days.. aha yeah right x

Currently, I'm trying to raid my wardrobe - I feel as though I am running out of clothes to wear. I guess it's every girls dilema, but I genuinely need an entire clear out. I was going through some of my clothes over the weekend and I found my cute TopShop cardigan. I remember when I first got this, I saw it in the Selfridges branch but they didn't have my size so I had to rush to get it from the Topshop branch in the bullring before closing time. They didn't have a size 8, but the 10 fit me perfectly. I love the cuteness, and I know this is something I won't get rid of. This peach tone cardigan has the most adorable pockets ever, cute little bows that make me fall in love with it everytime.

I'm wearing my most favorite jeans that I own (to be honest I only own three!). The deep blue wash jeans are from ASOS and they're super soft and super skinny, good for me because my legs are soo thin (sadly). These jeans are very comfortable and I wear them at least once a week :)
The chiffon sheer top that I am wearing is from Primark, its one of my favorite casual tops when I can't think of anything else to wear (don't know if this is a bad thing, or what). I love wearing this in the summer with some stonewash shorts ( I really am praying for summer..)
While rummaging through some stuff I came across a pair of footwear I've only worn once, these cute booties are a little too high for me to wear too much - I never wear heels. I love the brown boots and my denim jeans, I think they truly are a match made in clothing heaven (now thats an idea).

I'm not the girly type, but I do love a splash of pretty florals and pink tones in my outfits from time to time. It's still really cold out so while summer is getting closer unfortunately it isn't here just yet. If I am honest, I don't really do winter wear as I find it suffocating and uncreative. I have a handful of knitwear and tee's that I do love for winter, but thats at a stretch. So, during the winter I find it difficult to wear clothes suitable for the weather - But I'm going to make it my new 'style' mission..

The beige knit jumper I am wearing is a light shade and the sleeves are 3/4 making me feel really comfortable and I can move without feeling trapped in a big wooly jumper. The beige tone is a soft colour, making the outfit a more lighter look. The jumper brings out the beige and light tones in the floral print skort, both items make a good autumn / spring picks. Wearing a block coloured jumper over a  printed skirt is a pretty look that I always do, it's like you can be a little untidy while still being on trend and looking great. As it is cold, I wore block-black tights and flatform boots finishing off the 'winter outfit'.

Summer is my most favorite season and I eventually want to live in a hot country (my life long dream). Adding to my look I decided to go for a canvas shoulder bag that does scream 'summer beach bag' - I need to add a bit of summer into every outfit, its just a habit.
