I have been thinking about getting some nice lipstick for a while. I don't ever wear it so I didn't know what to choose or where to go. I don't really know how to apply it either ( I call myself a girl?). But you know, we can all change and improve..

This week I visited Superdrug: with the intention of finding a nice natural eye shadow. As you do, you always get distracted by all the lovely girly necessities, your brain goes overload in everything you could possibly want. Containing myself I headed over to the Rimmel stand. Rimmel have a lovely 2 for 3 offer on at the moment, so obviously you can't just get one item.. (Go Check it out)
Looking through the lipstick shades I wanted one that was as natural that can be but will still give me a peachy glow for everyday wear. The shade I chose was from Kate and it's number 16 called 'Rossetto / Rouge A Levres'. I guess that I subconsciously chose this colour for valentines day without slapping on the Clique Red Lipstick. It's a really pretty colour, I am happy from the outcome and can see me loving this the more that I wear it. I hope you can see clearly in the photos as it is a more pink rose colour.

Moving on to the Rimmel Eye Shadow that I went in the store for. I love my natural Rimmel palette that I already own but it's wearing thin now - sad times! I love these five shades, they are all a bit shimmery but I like this about it. I was daring on my first go using the middle shade - a bronze/red shade. I do love it, its striking and I think it matches my top nicely. Overall, happy with these colours and I'm excited to try the next one, I'm thinking to be less daring and go for the bottom right shade x

Lastly, I really need some new blusher, my old one from The Body Shop has been used up and I really loved it. I chose to go for pretty much the same pale pink shade but I got this from Collection. I love the pretty pattern on the blush which makes not want to use it, but I have too...
The blusher is perfect, I love the shade and it takes to my skin well.

All in all, my beauty shop went fantastically well! x

I love floral. Any chance I get to buy something with a hint or a parade of floral print I somehow persuade myself to get it. What I am wearing reminds me of spring and how much I really miss it. Summer is creeping up (even if it is slowly) and I really can't wait to let go of the layers and scarves and bulky coats.

I am wearing a floral print vest top from TopShop. I remember when I first bought this, it was highly popular and I would see lots of people wearing it - simply because its a nice summer vest and florals always win. I wanted to add a little extra to my outfit. I matched the floral top with a vintage style floral crochet vest. The white crochet pattern really adds style to my outfit, adding this layer made my outfit more interesting and adds a vintage / boho look.

To complete my look I wanted to match the outfit with a pair of boots that really add to the look. I think that my old pixie ankle boots suit the look well. These are my favorite booties and I love the floral turn overs, they're so cute and unique. I got these from my old job and I remember how excited I was when I saw them as they were the only pair in the store (a random footwear in my size - fate right?).

I'm not the girly type, but I do love a splash of pretty florals and pink tones in my outfits from time to time. It's still really cold out so while summer is getting closer unfortunately it isn't here just yet. If I am honest, I don't really do winter wear as I find it suffocating and uncreative. I have a handful of knitwear and tee's that I do love for winter, but thats at a stretch. So, during the winter I find it difficult to wear clothes suitable for the weather - But I'm going to make it my new 'style' mission..

The beige knit jumper I am wearing is a light shade and the sleeves are 3/4 making me feel really comfortable and I can move without feeling trapped in a big wooly jumper. The beige tone is a soft colour, making the outfit a more lighter look. The jumper brings out the beige and light tones in the floral print skort, both items make a good autumn / spring picks. Wearing a block coloured jumper over a  printed skirt is a pretty look that I always do, it's like you can be a little untidy while still being on trend and looking great. As it is cold, I wore block-black tights and flatform boots finishing off the 'winter outfit'.

Summer is my most favorite season and I eventually want to live in a hot country (my life long dream). Adding to my look I decided to go for a canvas shoulder bag that does scream 'summer beach bag' - I need to add a bit of summer into every outfit, its just a habit.
