Some days I just want to throw on a jumper and have a lazy day - yet it's hard when you have to go to work even though you really want a day in front of the television. I love to dress down sometimes but I still like to look the best that I can (if at all possible?!). I think it's essential to have some basic jumpers, they're timeless and warm!

The black knitted jumper I am wearing is from Forever 21, it's woven and you can see the detail of the top adding a splash of colour and print into the mix. This is one of my favorite jumpers that I own, it's a bit grunge and is quite thin so it doesn't feel too heavy. Everything that you want in a jumper is to look good and be easy to wear (if this makes sense).
My River Island top is a cute piece. There is a lot going on with it but it is very different to anything in my wardrobe, and I think that's why I bought it. I love the neckline with the peep bow and the gold button detail. I love how the top works with my jumper, using the bow as a main detail point for the entire outfit. I love how mature it looks, as I am reaching a golden number of 25 I feel like my style needs to progress in a mature way (uh oh..). But we shall see.. xx
