Today's look is a little lazy, it's all black and comfy. I got some new black boots and they were only £5! They are a great fit and so comfy, I love canvas style boots, they're easy to clean and look good. I love the fact that these only have a little heel which means they give me extra height but don't cripple me. Well worth the money x

To give my outfit a bit of life I wore my printed skorts that I took on Holiday with me - they're so seasonal, I just love the boldness to them.

I went for a bit of a lonely drive this weekend. It was super nice, where I live there is a country lane area and I stopped off close by to take some snaps. I wanted to try an outdoor post that wasn't outside my house. Because I don't have a garden *insert super sad face*. It was really calming, watching the boats go by as people sailed them, there is definitely something soothing about water.

I went for a boho / country look today, I have fallen utterly in love with this tie dye top, it is a perfect summer essential and I know I will be getting a lot of wear out of this. What is your summer fave this year? x

Today, I'm being a little daring. I don't usually wear bright colours and I never wear red. Yet here I am with a bright red top on. I must admit, I found it really hard to team up anything I already own but out came my safety shorts. I like the look, my platform boots really make the outfit a little more edgy and grown up, along with my knitted cardigan.

I need a really big clean out of my home, since I moved in I haven't properly unpacked everything as I still need to get more furniture to pack my clothes away in order. Today I came across a bundle of necklaces, after a lot of untangling I fell in love with my two favorite pieces from the previous summer.

The first one was from an American store online called ModCloth, the clothes are so devine and really up my street. The only problem is that it takes a while to arrive, the prices are reasonable but it is difficult to see what the clothes are going to look like on arrival or the fit. I would recommend you to check them out (here) they have cute vintage style items for sale all year round x

Next up is my necklace from Accessorize, I love this as it has more of a boho look about it and it's handmade so I dog that a lot. You ca'nt really go wrong with Accessorize, they are ahead of their game - I can never leave the store without a purchase it's so bad x

I love Forever 21. I remember when its store in the Birmingham Bullring opened for the first time, I was so excited, they made a massive deal out of it and all the other stores were trying to put on events in a nervous kind of way. The store is huge, it covers three floors and the only other shops that do this are Debenhams and Selfridges - bearing in mind that they are department stores. So this was kind of a big deal..

I spend most of my time browsing online for new clothes as I don't have that much time to shop when I feel in the mood and it gets too busy on the weekend. I'd rather have a nice cuppa and a clear mind << two of my favorite things actually.

Forever 21 have a huge sale on right now and I got a right bargain. Two of these bargains are pictured today what I wore. This cute vintage pattern print vest in a plum colour was only £8.75. But the real bargain was my grey ash jeans, only £7.00.. that is crazy. They fit well and I love the colour, I was in need of some dark jeans and these are perfect. I wore my black lace jacket that I bought previously from Forever 21 and there you have it almost a full outfit from Forever 21 - and this was all from my spfa..yay me. x

River Island and Forever 21

Some days I just want to throw on a jumper and have a lazy day - yet it's hard when you have to go to work even though you really want a day in front of the television. I love to dress down sometimes but I still like to look the best that I can (if at all possible?!). I think it's essential to have some basic jumpers, they're timeless and warm!

The black knitted jumper I am wearing is from Forever 21, it's woven and you can see the detail of the top adding a splash of colour and print into the mix. This is one of my favorite jumpers that I own, it's a bit grunge and is quite thin so it doesn't feel too heavy. Everything that you want in a jumper is to look good and be easy to wear (if this makes sense).
My River Island top is a cute piece. There is a lot going on with it but it is very different to anything in my wardrobe, and I think that's why I bought it. I love the neckline with the peep bow and the gold button detail. I love how the top works with my jumper, using the bow as a main detail point for the entire outfit. I love how mature it looks, as I am reaching a golden number of 25 I feel like my style needs to progress in a mature way (uh oh..). But we shall see.. xx

Black clothes day

I have recently been exercising my love for black. There was a time when I would stay clear of it, because it reminded me of my work clothes and I was literally in them all the time. So, since not wearing all black for work and wearing my normal clothes pretty much every single day (Sunday might be a stretch) I decided to explore it..

Ironically, today I decided to wear all black - I love it so much now, it's classy and timeless and its undoubtedly suitable for the British weather! I've recently posted about my new leggings from Boohoo and how much I love them, they're comfy and practical as well as looking sweeeet! I have teamed up my leggings with a black blouse I purchased a while back from Forever 21. The blouse has cute gold button fastenings going down the blouse, adding a dash of colour and class. I love the low v-neck on this top, and they way it drapes down exposing my shoulders. The oversized look is something I am trying out and I feel that this top gives me the oversized feel without looking as though I am big. Sometimes it's cold at work so I grabbed an old floral cardigan to blast some colour into this outfit! Today I really felt comfy in what I wore, yet I felt I wasn't dressed down - all in all it is good :)

By the way, I have a new hair style, it was pretty nerve racking going through with it but I am so happy that I did x

I'm not the girly type, but I do love a splash of pretty florals and pink tones in my outfits from time to time. It's still really cold out so while summer is getting closer unfortunately it isn't here just yet. If I am honest, I don't really do winter wear as I find it suffocating and uncreative. I have a handful of knitwear and tee's that I do love for winter, but thats at a stretch. So, during the winter I find it difficult to wear clothes suitable for the weather - But I'm going to make it my new 'style' mission..

The beige knit jumper I am wearing is a light shade and the sleeves are 3/4 making me feel really comfortable and I can move without feeling trapped in a big wooly jumper. The beige tone is a soft colour, making the outfit a more lighter look. The jumper brings out the beige and light tones in the floral print skort, both items make a good autumn / spring picks. Wearing a block coloured jumper over a printed skirt is a pretty look that I always do, it's like you can be a little untidy while still being on trend and looking great. As it is cold, I wore block-black tights and flatform boots finishing off the 'winter outfit'.

Summer is my most favorite season and I eventually want to live in a hot country (my life long dream). Adding to my look I decided to go for a canvas shoulder bag that does scream 'summer beach bag' - I need to add a bit of summer into every outfit, its just a habit.
